Enapter showcases its anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzer at Hannover Messe 2018

Hannover, Germany–(Business Wire)–With the addition of new investors and management, the former ACTA/Heliocentris Italy has been renamed Enapter and will showcase the innovation of the existing product line.

Enapter is committed to providing electrolyzer systems ranging from 250 liters to 1,000 liters per hour. Enapter stacks are small, flexible, and modular. The electrolyzer is scalable and can support cost-effective systems up to 48 kilowatts. They produce clean, dry hydrogen, which is directly compressed to 35 bar. The electrolyzer can be powered from any power source.

Enapter also showcased existing international use cases that can realize on-site hydrogen production: such as off-grid housing, telecommunications towers, production and laboratory backup power sources.

At the Hannover Messe, Enapter continued to showcase its anion exchange membrane (AEM) technology. AEM operates in a non-corrosive, weakly alkaline environment, and can obtain a long service life without precious metals. This unique technology combines the advantages of cost-effective alkaline electrolysis and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis.

Enapter will showcase its latest advanced energy monitoring system. This comprehensive dashboard provides a comprehensive view of hydrogen production data. Enapter uses the TLS 1.2 protocol to ensure high security standards, and the authorization system obtains X.509 certification. The new software is equipped with MQTT and OPC-UA interfaces, which meets the requirements of Industry 4.0. The mobile application can shorten the installation and update time of the monitoring system to very little time.

From April 23 (Monday) to 27 (Friday), you can go to booth #D.57 in Hall 27 to meet and negotiate with the Enapter team.

About Enapter

Enapter's core technology has 10 years of reliable performance and is the basis of a unique series of low-cost, compact hydrogen electrolyzers. Today, they have been used in international telecommunications, academia, and agricultural and residential fields.

Enapter took over the former company ACTA/Heliocentris at the end of 2017 and invested capital to bring about a huge change. The company's structure is similar to a hydrogen technology start-up company and currently has offices in Italy, Germany and Thailand. The company uses AEM electrolysis to design and manufacture modular and efficient hydrogen generators. The company's team possesses both electrochemistry and IT expertise to promote the hydrogen economy from the perspective of software and hardware.
