Evonik offers tailor-made solutions for epoxy and polyurethane polymer high-performance composites based on VESTALITE® at JEC in Paris this year

This product makes cost-effective, high-performance composites that can be processed quickly. And these composite materials are particularly suitable for the next generation of cars.

The VESTALITE®P series contains resins for continuous impregnation of prepregs. They produce prepregs that can be stored stably without marking and can be used for rapid, automated prepreg molding.

VESTALITE® P312 can produce parts with excellent surface properties and excellent material strength and flexibility. In contrast, VESTALITE® P342 is mainly suitable for metal composite composite parts with short manufacturing time.

VESTALITE®S is a diamine based epoxy curing agent for sheet molding compounds (SMC). Used in combination with epoxy resin, SMC materials can be quickly and easily processed into lightweight structural products, and emissions are minimized.

VESTALITE® products are supported by Vestaro Ltd. This Evonik and Forward Engineering joint venture is located in Munich, Germany, and brings together the two companies' expertise in specialty chemicals and engineering, laying the foundation for successful interactions of materials, designs and processes throughout the development phase.
