In recent years, Faurecia has accelerated its strategic transformation to become a global leader in cockpit electronics and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). After acquiring Parrot Automotive, Jiangxi Good Helper, Japan Clarion, Creo Dynamics, and COVATech (Chengyu Co., Ltd.), it established the fourth division-Faurecia Clarion Automotive Electronics. The new business unit continues to integrate and enhance the technological capabilities of cockpit electronics, including solutions for in-vehicle infotainment systems, voice and visual effects.

Quanzhi Technology established the Internet of Vehicles Division in 2014 to fully develop the automotive intelligent cockpit market, continuously explore the integrated development of cockpit electronics, and successively developed a series of products that integrate more application functions on a single chip. In particular, the recently released T7 has become the first processor in China that fully meets the requirements of car regulations, realizing the operation requirements of various intelligent systems such as infotainment systems, digital instruments, ADAS, and streaming media rearview mirrors.

Faurecia joined hands with Quanzhi Technology to deepen cooperation, which is expected to further strengthen the platform advantages of both parties.

This is of great significance for Faurecia, which is determined to quickly introduce future cockpit system technology into the Chinese automotive market. It can effectively improve the scalability and integration of cockpit electronics, achieve cost reduction and efficiency, and accelerate the landing of future smart cockpits. Faurecia started the layout of the future smart cockpit four years ago. With this cooperation, the two parties will further explore the development of custom chips based on future car networking, virtual reality and ADAS applications.
