GE Healthcare acquires BK Medical

Recently, GE Healthcare announced the acquisition of BK Medical in the field of surgical visualization from Altaris Capital Partners for a cash purchase price of US$1.45 billion. GE Medical expects that after the cooperation, BK Medical will achieve rapid revenue growth, profit margin expansion and free cash flow growth. GE Healthcare also predicts that the return on investment capital will reach high single digits in the fifth year. The two parties expect the transaction to be completed in 2022, but subject to review by relevant regulatory agencies. This transaction enables BK Medical’s Active Imaging platform to reach a wider range of new customers and new markets around the world.
