German CSI Entwicklungstechnik, Alba Tooling & Engineering, and Automotive Management Consulting (AMC) jointly developed four ultra-lightweight carbon fiber seats with four other partners

A carbon fiber structure ultra-light seat weighing only 10kg was officially displayed to the public recently. Seven professional companies from Germany and Austria participated in the joint development of this innovative project.

The light seat joint project lasted for 7 months. German CSI Entwicklungstechnik, Alba Tooling & Engineering, and Automotive Management Consulting Company (AMC) jointly completed the project feasibility report with four other partners. According to reports, the project's research and development includes the latest technology and rapid prototyping methods. The project team said that the research and development results will provide internal prototypes for future cars.

The lightweight of the seat is mainly achieved by the innovative fiber composite winding process designed by AMC. This process uses resin-impregnated continuous fibers as raw materials to achieve precise control of the force of the seat in a precise winding manner without generating any waste.

CSI Entwicklungstechnik took advantage of this process to design the seat structure, which can perfectly meet the design needs of supercars, sports cars and future air taxis.
