Global leader in lithium battery separator industry raises 2 billion yuan to build “lithium battery separator super coating factory” Hay:N02SZXY

On June 16, SZXY Materials announced that the company plans to raise no more than 2 billion yuan to build a "Super Coating Factory" project in Jiangsu. The project plans to invest a total of 2.964 billion yuan in wholly-owned subsidiaries SZXY New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is the implementation body, constructing 50 high-performance coated diaphragm production lines, and simultaneously building 8 new-generation dry-process diaphragm production lines. After the project is completed, it will form an annual production capacity of 400 million square meters of dry diaphragms and an annual processing capacity of 1 billion square meters of coated diaphragms.

Among them, the first phase of the project plans to build 8 dry-line separator production lines and 30 coated-separation production lines. After reaching the production capacity, it will form an annual capacity of 40 million square meters of dry-type separators for lithium-ion batteries and an annual processing capacity of 60 million for high-performance lithium-ion battery-coated separators. Square meters; after the completion of the construction of the first phase of the project, the production capacity will be released year by year. It is expected that the output will reach 20% in the second year, 50% in the third year, 70% in the fourth year, and full production in the fifth year. The second-phase project plans to build 20 new coated diaphragm production lines, which will form an annual processing capacity of 40 million square meters of high-performance lithium-ion battery-coated diaphragms after reaching production; after the completion of the second-phase project, the production capacity will be released year by year, and it is expected that the output will reach 50% in the fourth year. 70% in the fifth year and full production in the sixth year.
