High-purity pig iron is a kind of special iron for high-end castings, which requires very high smelting technology.
HBLF has formed a strategic cooperation alliance with more than 20 universities and scientific research institutes, including Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, China National Academy of Mechanical Sciences, China National Institute of Iron and Steel Research, and established four research and development platforms, namely, the National High-purity Pig Iron Enterprise Technology Center, the Provincial High-purity Pig Iron Technology Innovation Center, the Provincial Ultra-purity Pig Iron Engineering Research Center, and the Provincial Institute of Pure Iron Materials and Applied Industry Technology.

The bogie axle box of high-speed train bears the weight of the vehicle body, and its quality directly affects the safety, stability and comfort of the train. The imported raw materials required for this part are not only very expensive, but also difficult to guarantee the timeliness.
After repeated experiments, HBLF provides high-quality iron-based new materials for bogie axle box, achieving tensile strength greater than 400 MPa and elongation greater than 18% in a low temperature environment from minus 60 ℃ to minus 50 ℃. After application, good results have been achieved.
