On October 30, the groundbreaking ceremony of Huntsman Composites Tianjin Plant was held in Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone. The project is planned to be completed by the end of 2019 and put into operation at the beginning of 2020, with an annual output of 70,000 tons of polyurethane. Huntsman built the first system factory in China in 1993, and has invested a total of 15 billion yuan in China, setting up joint ventures in Shanghai and Nanjing. The construction of the Tianjin project is a new starting point for Huntsman's deployment in the northern China market.
