HEXCEL develops high-performance carbon fiber pultrusion technology for the wind energy market

HEXCEL announced today that it is working with METYX to manufacture high-performance carbon fiber pultruded profiles made of polyurethane (PU) resin and unidirectional carbon fiber for the wind energy market.


The two companies will jointly develop a new technology based on Hexcel ski industry polyurethane expertise, combined with its advantages in providing high-performance composite materials for wind energy customers, and expand it to other composite material application markets. METYX is a manufacturer of high-performance NCF, glass and carbon fabrics, consumables, core and fabric kits, molds, prototypes and components for the wind energy, marine, automotive, railway and construction industries.
