Hexpol has developed a series of compounds specifically for different types of sealing caps, including crown caps, aluminum seals, roll-coated anti-theft, plastic bottle caps, outer and inner shell liner molding. EpsealTPE is a gasket sealing compound customized for the food and beverage industry. The material is PVC-free and meets US FDA and EU regulations. The solution can be used for carbonated soft drinks, beer, wine, fruit juice and milk beverages, and includes specifications that are still ideal after cold, hot, pasteurization or sterilization. In response to opportunities in the beverage industry, laser-compatible compounds are also offered in the product line.
