On July 20, JSGC New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. held the start-up ceremony of the high-frequency ultra-thin flexible copper clad laminate (FCCL) project.
The total investment of the high-frequency ultra-thin flexible copper-clad laminate project is 3 billion yuan.
Flexible copper clad board is made of copper foil, polyimide film, glue and other materials. It has the advantages of thinness, lightness and flexibility. It is an important raw material for flexible circuit boards (FPC) and flip-chip films (COF). End applications Widely distributed in the fields of consumer electronics, automotive electronics and wearable devices.
At present, the global FPC market size exceeds US $ 10 billion, and China's FPC market accounts for about half of the world. However, the mid-to-high-end FCCL market is basically monopolized by Japan and South Korea, and domestic demand still basically depends on imports. The project has advanced process technology, strong R & D and customized production capabilities, and is in line with the national FCCL industrial structure adjustment direction. It is expected to break the monopoly of foreign manufacturers and promote industrial upgrading and transformation.
