On March 13, Huntsman announced the acquisition of Demilec, a North American leading manufacturer and distributor of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation systems, a subsidiary of Sun Capital Partners, which is suitable for residential and commercial applications.
Under the agreement, Huntsman will pay $ 350 million in cash transactions. According to the EBITDA for the whole year of 2018, the purchase price is nearly 11.5 times or 7.5 times. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2018.
