February 25, 2020-Huntsman recently announced the appointment of two presidents to jointly lead the new composite hybrid spray polyurethane foam (SPF) business by Demilec and Icynene-Lapolla, both of which are leading North American companies Manufacturer and distributor of SPF insulation materials for commercial applications.
The combined new company will have a leadership team that will be jointly led by Simon Baker, President of Huntsman Demilec SPF Business and Doug Kramer, President of Icynene-Lapolla. Geographically, Simon Baker will be responsible for business development in Canada and in the rapidly growing global market; Doug Kramer will be responsible for the United States.

Huntsman acquired Demilec in 2018 and completed the acquisition of Icynene-Lapolla on February 20, 2020. The newly established merged SPF business exemplifies the company's established downstream business strategy and establishes Huntsman's position as a global leader in SPF.
