Chinaplas will begin next week. At that time, Huntsman Group, a global specialty and specialty chemical manufacturing and sales company, will fully display elastomer technology and launch two new TPU products for the shoe industry, Two major TPU product lines for films and sheets.
At this exhibition, Huntsman will display a series of products focusing on "Shaping the New World", and vigorously promote KRYSTALGRAN® and KRYSTALFLEX®, two TPU technologies for producing high-performance films and sheets.
KRYSTALGRAN® TPU includes a full range of aliphatic resins, which can produce durable, lightweight, stable protective films and barrier films. Films made from KRYSTALGRAN® TPU materials have excellent performance in optical and non-optical applications. This film can be used as a protective film for tablets and smartphones. In addition, this film is also widely used in the protection of automotive paint spraying processes to prevent scratches on the paint surface, and can be used in construction, flooring, shoe materials, drawing and textile applications.
· KRYSTALFLEX® TPU is the standard setter for laminated films in the glass industry. Using this technology, it is easier to produce composite glass that is strong, wear-resistant and has better performance than pure glass. KRYSTALFLEX® TPU is compatible with glass, acrylic plastic and polycarbonate. It can form a strong adhesion with different substrates over a wide temperature range and has excellent physical properties. Typical applications include safety glass with an added bulletproof layer.
Huntsman's latest elastomer innovations for the footwear industry include AVALON® 55 AHG TPU and AVALON® ABDI TPU. Among them, AVALON® ABDI TPU is a new TPU product with a fast molding cycle. Demolding helps shoe material manufacturers increase productivity. AVALON® 55 AHG TPU is a new type of soft sole material, which can enhance the anti-slip performance of shoes on dry and wet roads.
AVALON® 55 AHG TPU has a Shore hardness of 55A, so it can be used to produce a variety of soft, thin, high-definition, strong grip, and shoes with different colors.
The products of this exhibition are:
· IROGRAN® K TPU-belongs to the series of polycaprolactone and polyether, which can be used to produce high-performance injection molded parts such as seals, wheels and rollers. IROGRAN® K series TPU products are not only easy to process and have good compressive deformation performance, but also have excellent abrasion resistance under extreme temperature and humidity environments.
· SUPRASEC® prepolymer can be used to produce all kinds of wheels, has excellent wear resistance and tear resistance, and can be widely used in wheelchairs, trolleys, electric vehicles and automation equipment.
· TECNOTHANEÔ Elastomer System-an advanced product portfolio of thermoset polyurethane elastomer systems that can be supplied from stock or customized, including MDI prepolymer combination products based on a variety of polyols and chain extenders. Such innovative materials can be used to produce durable rollers, seals, rubber rollers, pads and other technical components for industrial, manufacturing, and transportation industries.
