Gold Peak Industry Group announced that its 85.5%-owned subsidiary GP Industries Co., Ltd. wholly owns branded speaker business KEF, and is the world's first audio company to introduce revolutionary Metamaterial Absorption Technology ("MAT") into commercial products.
It is understood that GP Industries is listed on the Singapore Exchange Stock Exchange. KEF and Hong Kong Mute Technology Group have jointly developed a synthetic material with high sound absorption performance, which can effectively absorb 99% of the noise generated behind the unit, thereby reducing distortion and effectively preventing audio interference.
The newly launched LS50 Meta and LS50 wireless speakers II are the first to use MAT among many KEF products, and they have received 5-star reviews from "WhatHi-Fi" magazine.
