SHZC is committed to the manufacturing of high-temperature alloy precision castings, with core technologies derived from the research and development achievements of key hot end components such as aviation engines and gas turbines, aerospace special aircraft, and launch vehicles at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and further research and optimization of mass production processes for high-temperature alloy precision castings.

 

The SHZC technical team is composed of members of the high-temperature material precision casting research team from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, high-tech talents in the aviation engine manufacturing industry at home and abroad, and social management talents.

 

SHZC has formed a multidisciplinary technical team in collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, covering materials, manufacturing, testing, and other related fields. The team leader and main researchers are all research backbone members of Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s High Temperature Materials Precision Casting Engineering Laboratory (Shanghai Advanced High Temperature Materials and Precision Forming Key Laboratory). Several individuals have been selected for national or provincial talent programs and hold national level industry experts and academic positions.

 

SHZC has the ability to manufacture large and complex thin-walled high-temperature alloy precision castings such as aviation engine turbine rear casings. With the cooperation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, SHZC has developed multiple technical patents related to large and complex thin-walled high-temperature alloy castings for aviation engines, including 24 authorized invention patents and 12 utility models. SHZC has participated in the formulation of 2 national standards and 6 industry group standards, and undertaken 3 provincial and municipal scientific research projects.

 

In 2021, SHZC developed high-temperature alloy casing products for aircraft gas turbine engines with a diameter exceeding 1200mm, which were successfully applied to large gas turbines in China

 

The high-temperature alloy ultra large complex thin-walled turbine rear casing casting of the C919 wide body aircraft engine developed by the company passed the appraisal in 2022, and the product technology has reached the international leading level.
