Previously, the two parties have long worked together to provide Airbus Group with the composite materials needed to produce aircraft doors. In the future, the scope of cooperation between the two parties will be extended to the field of helicopters, and will be deepened to jointly develop innovative carbon fiber / glass fiber composite materials required for helicopter manufacturing. In the first new cooperation project to be launched, the two parties will provide fabrics for structural parts of Airbus helicopters.

According to the SGL Group, in addition to maintaining a long-term bilateral cooperation relationship with Airbus Helicopters, the two parties have also participated in many industry organizations and research and development projects in the field of composite materials, such as the German Carbon Composites e.V Association.
