LED automotive lighting module maker Laster Tech gains 20% market share in China

LED automotive lighting module maker Laster Tech has gained 20% market share in China, and will also increase marketing efforts in the United States and Europe in an effort to win 30% of the global market share within ten years.

According to this Taiwanese manufacturer, in China, Laster Tech is the largest OEM of LED car lighting modules for domestic car manufacturer Great Wall Motors; it is also the manufacturer of BYD and other automotive lighting modules for Chinese domestic electric cars The main suppliers of suppliers are Shanghai Koito Automotive Lamp, Guangzhou Koito Automotive Lamp and Varroc TYC lamps. Sales to Great Wall and Shanghai Koito accounted for 44% and 23% of its profits, respectively.

According to Laster Tech, the company has received some new orders to produce hundreds of models of LED automotive lighting modules, of which 9-10 models are headlights; the order was shipped in 2017-2018. Laster Tech started production at a new plant in Shanghai and currently accounts for 70% of the plant's capacity. The Shanghai plant will contribute 30% to 40% of the output of Laster Tech and contribute to the shipment of new orders.

Although according to Laster Tech ’s own report, net earnings per share for the first three quarters of 2016 was NT $ 1.85 (approximately $ 0.058), market analysts forecast net earnings per share for 2016 to be NT $ 3.5, which will reach 4.0 NT.

Laster Tech was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange on December 19 this year at the original price of NT $ 30 per share.
