China`s leader in high-performance lithium-ion battery separators, SHEJ Phase II Lithium Battery Separator Project, will expand 4 high-performance lithium battery separator wet-process production lines, 12 coating production lines and production facilities.
On June 12, SHEJ Co., Ltd. issued an announcement on "Zhuhai Phase II Lithium Battery Separator Project Approval Preparation".
According to the announcement, Zhuhai EJ New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company, recently obtained the “Guangdong Provincial Enterprise Investment Project Record Certificate” issued by the Zhuhai Development and Reform Bureau. The project name is "Zhuhai Phase II Lithium Battery Separator Project", and the construction is an expansion. The planned start time is June 2019.
The announcement shows that the total investment of the project is RMB 1.1 billion, the project capital is RMB 400 million, the civil construction investment is RMB 130 million, and the equipment investment is RMB 900 million; the project construction content is 64584.3 square meters of additional land and 4 High-performance lithium battery separator wet production lines, 12 coating production lines and production facilities.
The project uses patents related to the composition of PVDF-based solvent-based coating materials from Japan's Teijin Co., Ltd. and patented technology related to the phase separation coating process.
SHEJ's main customers are LG Chem, CATL, Samsung, Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Panasonic, Rover Energy, Wanxiang 123, Sumitomo Japan, Teijin, Zhuo Neng New Energy, Xinwanda Company, Everlite Lithium, Thornton New Energy, Yinlong New Energy, Zhuhai Coslight, etc.
