Lithium battery diaphragm manufacturer: intentional entry into flexible display, optical film profit margins may be greater than aluminum plastic film

However, the lithium battery separator, which is also a thin film for lithium batteries, has not been satisfactory in the recent market. The supply of middle and low-end separators has exceeded supply, causing prices to fall sharply.

Facing the question of "whether aluminum-plastic film will have a significant price reduction next year", Xinlun Technology stated that lithium-polymer battery aluminum-plastic film products are mainly divided into three levels:

At the highest end are aluminum-plastic films for power lithium batteries. Including the Mie Plant, which was acquired by the company, only three Japanese companies, Dainippon Printing and Showa Denko, have production capabilities.

The second is the high-end 3C lithium battery aluminum plastic film for mobile phones and notebooks. In addition to the three Japanese companies mentioned above, there are also some small factories in Japan and South Korea.

Finally, there are aluminum plastic films for lithium batteries used in charging treasures and electric toys. Due to low technical requirements, domestic factories have already entered the supply chain.

Judging from the current market situation, due to the strong monopoly of the supply chain and high-end 3C, there is limited room for price reduction. Moreover, the company said that the advantages of large-scale production of lithium battery aluminum plastic film are obvious, and the cost will decrease after the output increases, and the company will provide larger price discounts for customers with large purchases.

In terms of optical films, Xinlun Technology said that it will accelerate the company's performance growth faster and better than the aluminum-plastic film project, because lithium battery aluminum-plastic films are still a developing market and may take 3-5 years. To cultivate, but the LCD is a national strategy. Now the mainland has become the world's largest display panel shipments. Downstream companies have well driven the demand for upstream raw materials, and polarizers are one of them.

The company claims that polarizers are made up of many layers of optical films. These optical films are basically all imported. The total annual import is nearly 10 billion yuan, and it is still growing. If a breakthrough is formed in this huge stock market, there will be more room for performance growth than other projects.

According to reports, the first two lines of the company's third-phase optical film project have been put into production in November, all of which are nano-scale coating lines imported from Japan. The remaining three lines are expected to be put into production in the third quarter of next year, which can meet the future of flexible, ultra-thin polarizers. Demand will become an important growth point for the company from next year. At the same time, Xinlun Technology also said that the company hopes to seize the opportunity of industry change brought by flexible display in the future and actively cooperate with Japanese and Korean manufacturers to develop new optical film products based on domestic flat-panel display customer needs.
