On May 28, China's leading GaAs-based epitaxial wafer technology company, SXTJ Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., successfully realized the commercial production of 6-inch GaAs-based epitaxial wafers and promoted the replacement of imported semiconductor laser epitaxial wafers.
With the help of the professional semiconductor entrepreneurial incubation platform provided by Xi'an Optical Machinery, SXTJ broke the technological monopoly of Europe and the United States and became China's first VESCEL epitaxial foundry with mass production capabilities.
SXTJ is a R&D and manufacturer of semiconductor materials and devices, mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of GaAs-based VCSELs and 808/980 high-power semiconductor laser epitaxial wafers. At the same time, it also provides users with semiconductor materials, optoelectronic materials research and development, quantum communication technology development and other services.
In May of this year, the SXTJ compound semiconductor epitaxial wafer project officially started construction with a total investment of 600 million yuan.
