On the morning of March 21, Chuzhou City held the signing ceremony and foundation laying ceremony for the Singapore Science and Technology Ecological Park Project. Liu Zhiren, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, and Wu Weizhen, chief executive officer of Singapore BLC Holdings Limited, attended the signing ceremony and participated in the foundation laying activities.
The Singapore Science and Technology Ecological Park Project is a key project introduced in the Electronic Information New Materials Industrial Park of Luzhou Economic Development Zone. The total investment of the project is 1.2 billion yuan. The central project has three parts. After full production, it can achieve an annual output value of 2 billion yuan and an annual tax payment of 100 million yuan. The first phase of the 60,000 cubic meter aerogel project covers an area of 100 acres with an investment of 500 million yuan. It is mainly engaged in the research, development, production and sales of aerogel materials. Aerogel is currently the world's best thermal solid material. After being put into production, it can realize an annual sales income of 1 billion yuan and a tax of 50 million yuan.
At the forum, Liu Zhiren welcomed Singaporean companies to invest and develop in Luzhou. Liu Zhiren hopes that Brancos will bring Singapore's advanced management concepts to Luzhou, and build the Brancos Technology Ecological Park project with first-class design, first-class management, first-class operation, and first-class team. Liu Zhiren said that the just-concluded National Congress of the People's Republic of China passed the Foreign Investment Law, and China's opening up will be more and more; Luzhou is adjacent to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Cooperation and exchange with Luzhou to achieve win-win development.
Wu Weizheng said that the establishment of the Singapore Brancos Technology Ecological Park project in Chenzhou has further strengthened the confidence of Singaporean companies to invest in Chenzhou. In the future, I hope to find more cooperation points with Chenzhou for deeper and wider cooperation. After returning, more Singaporean companies will also be introduced to invest and start business in Luzhou.
