Nippon Metallurgical Industry Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a new high-performance material-"NAS 355N" nickel-based alloy, and has successfully produced 4-foot wide coils. While the alloy has high chloride resistance and sulfuric acid corrosion resistance, the cost is also lower than the previous high corrosion resistance nickel-based alloy.
This is also the first nickel-based alloy independently developed by Japan Metallurgical Industry Co., Ltd. The target is to be used in flue gas desulfurization devices, SOX scrapers for marine internal combustion engines, and chemical complete equipment.
