In June 2020, China's tens of millions of kilowatts world-class giant hydropower project-Wudongde Hydropower Station was officially put into operation, with a total installed capacity of 10,200 MW. It is the fourth largest giant hydropower station in China and the seventh largest in the world. The 30,000 tons of high-quality high-grade electrical steel materials produced by SHBG successfully assisted the large-scale generator sets and high-grade transformers of the Wudongde project. BS and Qingshan base supply non-oriented electrical steel for all 12 generating units of Wudongde Hydropower Station; fully guarantee the first batch of high-grade oriented electrical steel for step-up transformers for Unit 6 and Unit 7 of electricity.
