On the basis of this initial cooperation, Hopium and Biol have reached a cooperative relationship to develop the Hopium Māchina hydrogen energy storage system for the mass production series. Based on nearly 40 patents and a series of internally developed and certified hydrogen storage tanks, Plastic Omnium will provide Hopium with a prototype high-pressure IV* hydrogen storage tank for testing. This new product will be integrated into the vehicle chassis in the best possible way, enabling Hopium to maximize the amount of hydrogen stored and achieve its ambitious 1,000-kilometer endurance goal.
