POSCO has developed the world's first environmentally friendly graphite free-cutting steel-PosGRA, and has entered commercial production.
PosGRAM-POSCO has achieved success in the development of graphite free-cutting steel, which is expected to replace imported products and enhance the competitiveness of Korean domestic industries. The current global steel free-cutting steel market is about 1 million tons, of which graphite-containing products account for more than half.
