Recently announced that automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for the Chinese market launched the first-generation electrophoretic primer PPG ENVIRO-PRIME® 8000 for the first time.
This new cathodic electrophoresis product further expands PPG's leading electrophoretic paint portfolio and meets the unique product needs of China's domestic automotive original equipment manufacturers. As an extension of PPG Enviro-Prime 7000, the world's first ultra-high-throughput electrophoretic coating, this new product will provide more performance advantages, including improved appearance characteristics and excellent workability, to help simplify production lines management. In addition, the PPG Enviro-Prime 8000 ultra-high-throughput electrophoretic coating can also provide first-class corrosion resistance and ultra-high through-put.
It is expected that this new product will be fully available at the production sites of Chinese domestic original equipment manufacturers at the end of this year.
