Real Graphene announced that it has developed graphene batteries for smartphones

The development of smart phones is quite fast, but the battery has not made much breakthroughs in hardware. Lithium batteries that have been developed for many years have not been listed for sale. However, the latest news about lithium batteries has been reported recently.

On January 20th, according to foreign media reports, Real Graphene, an American company, announced that it has developed graphene batteries for smartphones and is preparing for commercial use.

Real Graphene said that with a 60W charger, the 3000mAh graphene battery can be fully charged in 20 minutes, which is more than an hour less than the current mobile phone battery of the same capacity.

However, this data is not eye-catching. The domestic mobile phone OPPO Reno Ace is equipped with a 65W charger and can be filled with 4000mAh batteries in 30 minutes. Compared with Real Graphene's products, the difference is not too big.

In addition to fast charging, graphene batteries also have another advantage, that is, charge and discharge cycles can reach 1500 times, while ordinary batteries can be up to 500 times.

At present, Real Graphene has launched a graphene charging treasure, with a capacity of 10000mAh, equipped with 60W charging, fully charged in 55 minutes, and can simultaneously charge 3 devices, charging up to 22.5W on a single port.

The biggest reason why graphene cannot become mainstream is that the price is too high. It is reported that the price of one kilogram of graphene is 300,000 US dollars, which is completely unacceptable for mobile phone manufacturers.
