Renegade Materials Corp., a subsidiary of Teijin America, is expanding its prepreg production capacity by approximately 2.5 times to meet advanced aerospace solutions and industrial applications.
Teijin Co., Ltd. officially announced that its carbon fiber subsidiary Renegade Materials Corporation, a leading supplier of high heat-resistant thermosetting prepregs, resins and adhesives for the aerospace industry in the United States, will expand its prepreg production capacity by approximately 2.5 times. The increase in production capacity is in line with Renegade's production capacity expansion strategy in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Renegade Materials' heat-resistant thermosetting prepregs, resins and adhesives are trusted by American and European aircraft manufacturers and aircraft engine suppliers. The company launched its thermoset prepreg business for aerospace applications under the Renegade brand in 2007. Renegade has the expertise to produce high heat-resistant RTM resins and adhesives and unique heat-resistant prepregs from low-toxic materials.
The company's proprietary heat-resistant thermosetting prepreg is being used to manufacture next-generation aircraft. By increasing its prepreg capacity, the company prioritizes the use of high-performance materials in the production of advanced aerospace solutions and industrial applications to meet the diverse needs of the global market.
