Rheinmetall’s Solidteq debuts at Formnext to showcase metal 3D printing solutions

The Frankfurt Trade Fair formnext will be held from November 18th to 22nd. The focus of the expo is additive manufacturing and next-generation intelligent industrial production. Rheinmetall Automotive's metal 3D printing startup, Solidteq, is located in booth B92 in Hall 12.0. At this exhibition, we will focus on 3D printing solutions using metal materials, which are especially suitable for equipment and tool manufacturers and product development companies, as well as the automotive industry and related departments.

This year's booth is a corner of 25 square meters. Shows detailed information on customer projects implemented by Solidteq in various industries. Use actual cases to show the project phases provided by the company. The range of services ranges from consulting services to the development of 3D models, from printing to perfecting finished products and finalizing workpieces.

Solidteq is part of Rheinmetall Automotive, a global automotive tier one supplier, with a seven-year focus on selective laser melting (SLM). The company applies its expertise in additive manufacturing and machining not only to internal customers, but also to an increasing number of external customers. Technical consulting services complete the product portfolio.

Applications for 3D printing range from rapid prototyping to small batch production. At the same time, the focus has now shifted to the selection and design of a range of product applications. Experience from various customer projects shows that the potential of new manufacturing processes can be fully utilized only if additive manufacturing is considered early as an alternative or complementary manufacturing process.
