The inner diameter of the Triton DeepView 24 pressure chamber is 1.90 meters, the wall thickness is 14 cm, and the length is about 15 meters. It is not manufactured in one piece, but is composed of four cylindrical units.
Each cylindrical unit is manufactured using a complex process. In this process, the half-shells made of PLEXIGLAS® thick blocks need to be formed, milled, polished and joined. PLEXIGLAS® can fully meet these processing needs.
In addition, the modular design means that Triton can provide different DeepView models according to the number of passengers, and the capacity can be easily expanded by simply increasing the number of PLEXIGLAS® cylinders. Currently, the maximum passenger capacity of the Triton DeepView submersible is 66 people.
