SCHOTT FLEXINITY®'s product range has been further expanded, aiming to provide specific physical and chemical properties, performance and customization options suitable for existing or under development applications. Ultra-thin glass wafers with a thickness as low as 0.1 mm (minimum structure radius of 100 μm) facilitate further reduction in the size of electronic components. Existing ultra-wide format and wider format with a diameter of 12 inches (300 mm) are available. There are almost no restrictions on the number and geometry of the available penetrating structural units. Customers can choose from a variety of glass types, including borosilicate glass (D 263® series, MEMpax®, BOROFLOAT 33®) and alkali-free glass (AF 32® eco).

Solutions with any combination of specific characteristics, microstructure design, size, surface quality and strength can be customized according to the application.
