Toray will showcase the latest advances in aerospace material technology at the upcoming Paris Air Show.
At the exhibition, Toray will further determine the Toray Car T1100 carbon fiber with improved performance. Toray's T1100 establishes a new category of carbon fiber (mid-modulus +) that provides significantly improved tensile and modulus strength over traditional mid-modulus fibers.
In addition, Toray will enhance its expansion capabilities, which currently include market-leading Cetex thermoplastic composites. After they acquired TenCate Advanced Composites in July 2018, Toray will be renamed Toray Advanced Composites. This is the first joint activity of Toray Advanced Composites since joining the Toray Group.
