In 1872, Siemens started business with China 25 years after its establishment. In 1992, Siemens Medical Devices Co., Ltd. was established in China, which is the first CT production base established by Siemens outside Germany. So far, Siemens has set up in China: Siemens Medical Devices Co., Ltd., Siemens (Shenzhen) Magnetic Resonance Co., Ltd., and Siemens X-Ray Vacuum Technology (Wuxi) Co., Ltd.
The main products include: R & D and production of computer tomography (CT), X-ray, ultrasound and other diagnostic equipment and related medical components, MR (magnetic resonance imaging system), AT (clinical treatment system) and CV (medical device components) Medical X-ray tube and X-ray tube assembly.
