This is the first time SK Innovation has acquired the business of a European company. The day before SK General Chemical held a board of directors vote to approve the acquisition, the plan is to complete the acquisition by the second quarter of next year.
It is reported that SK Comprehensive Chemical will acquire Arkema ’s 3 production facilities in France and ethylene-acrylate copolymers, ethylene-propylene terpolymers, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, and MAH graft polymers through this acquisition4 The right to operate a product, as well as related technology and personnel.
