Hyflon® PFA is a semi-crystalline melt-processable perfluoropolymer. The extruded tubes for heat exchangers are assembled on modules in the Beijing Xinshiyi heat exchange system. Beijing Xinshiyi's heat exchange system is the first time Solvay Hyflon® PFA has been used in a large 600 MW MGGH heat exchanger in China. Three months after its installation at the Guodian Beilun Power Plant in Zhejiang Province, China, the new system has demonstrated higher heat recovery, energy saving and emission reduction performance.
