On November 7, Solvay's polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) plant in China was officially opened. The new plant will meet strong global demand for thermoplastic polymer products in the areas of energy conservation, environmental protection and industrial applications.

The official opening of the new Solef® PVDF plant signifies that we are ready to serve our customers in Asia and can meet the strong demand for our products from customers in this region.
