Stratasys announces expanded partnership with aerospace and defense giant BAE Systems

Stratasys announced that it will expand its partnership with British defense, security and aerospace multinational BAE Systems to strengthen the latter's additive manufacturing solutions in the land, maritime and aerospace sectors. Through the expanded cooperation agreement, Stratasys will provide BAE Systems with more new materials and production technologies.

It is reported that Stratasys and BAE Systems started cooperation as early as 2006. BAE Systems now operates Stratasys' PolyJet and FDM systems, including a batch of F900 Production 3D printers installed at the Samlesbury plant in the UK.

Regarding this cooperation, Dave Holmes, Manufacturing Director of BAE Systems Air, said: "We are very pleased to be able to strengthen our partnership with Stratasys. Stratasys technology has been integrated into our production operations and will continue to help us address the current and future challenges we face. challenge."
