Symbio[a joint venture between Faurecia and Michelin] is bringing its hydrogen fuel cell stack system to the US market

Symbio, a joint venture between Faurecia and Michelin, is introducing its hydrogen fuel cell stack system from overseas to the US market.

To this end, the company announced on Wednesday (August 25) the launch of Symbio North America, focusing on hydrogen solutions for light, commercial medium and heavy vehicles.


Leading the joint venture will be Rob Del Core, who has been appointed as general manager. Del Core has more than 20 years of experience in the hydrogen fuel cell industry and will lead new efforts.

In terms of products and how they will serve new markets, Symbio stated that its H2Motive product portfolio covers 40 kW to 300 kW, which will meet the various duty cycle, power and durability requirements of the US transportation market.

Symbio will announce more details of the new joint venture at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, California, from August 30th to September 2nd.
