At a press conference held during JEC World 2019 on March 12, Toray executives announced that TenCate Advanced Composites was officially renamed Toray Advanced Composites.
As a subsidiary of Toray Group (Tokyo, Japan), TenCate Advanced Composites announced on March 12 at JEC World 2019 that it will be renamed Toray Advanced Composites. TenCate Performance Composites, a subsidiary of TenCate Advanced Composites, will also be changed to Toray PMC.
Toray is the world's leading supplier of carbon fiber and composite materials. It acquired TenCate Advanced Composites in 2018 and has been working to integrate the company into the Toray Group in recent months. The company said the name change will continue to show customers consistency with the Toray brand group and will be strengthened with new visual identity.

The name change will be completed on July 17, 2019.
TenCate Performance Composites, a subsidiary of TenCate Advanced Composites, was subsequently renamed Toray PMC.
