On September 2, the high-end rare earth special steel new material production base project jointly invested by the Advanced Steel Materials Research Department of ZGKX Institute of Metal Materials and the Chinese special steel manufacturer SDXW Special Steel Technology Group was officially launched.
The project will fully transform and apply the core technology independently developed by the Institute of Metal Materials, relying on the technology and production platform of SDXW Special Steel, to create a full industrial chain of new material production, basic components and high-end equipment manufacturing, promote the transformation and upgrading of equipment manufacturing, and help high-end equipment The process of equipment localization improves development efficiency.
The national high-end rare earth special steel new material guarantee base jointly created by the two parties includes not only the current high-end rare earth special steel new material project with an annual output of 1 million tons, but also the upcoming construction of the national "rare earth special steel testing and analysis center", There are four items in total, including heat treatment and bearing parts. After the project is fully launched, 20 R&D personnel from ZGKX Metal Materials Research Institute will be stationed in SDXW Special Steel Group to advance the project together with corporate technical personnel.
