The issuance and implementation of this national standard will provide solid technical standard support for further improving the quality and international competitiveness of Chinese acrylic materials.
Walking into the JSTC plate workshop, the workshop is clean and tidy, and the automated assembly line, the workers are skilled in the production and cutting of the plate. It is understood that this is the company’s thick plate workshop, which is a special thick acrylic plate independently developed by the company. The forming can reach 650MM, which is the highest in Asia, and while maintaining high molecular weight, the light transmittance of the sheet can reach 93%.
Excellent quality has attracted orders from domestic and foreign customers. The company can customize acrylic materials of various thicknesses according to customer needs, which greatly meets customer needs. In recent years, JSTC has continuously increased the research and development of new materials. In the research institute area, the new extruded acrylic sheet developed by JSTC will soon come out. This product will replace the previous traditional technology, break the foreign monopoly, and fully meet the market demand. As the national standard drafting unit of the acrylic industry and the first sound screen board research and development unit in China, JSTC has successively formulated 1 ISO international standard, 6 national standards, 5 industry standards, 2 group standards, and 1 technical regulation. The Jiangmen Neutrino Center Detector PMMA ball project undertaken by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has made up for the gap in the application of China's cast-type industrial PMMA sheet to cutting-edge scientific research.
