The Chinese government announced the bidding results for ceramic, alloy and polyethylene artificial hip joints

At 9 o'clock in the morning on September 14, 2021, the Chinese government organized a bid for artificial joint procurement in Tianjin to open the bid. Hay Think learned at the bid opening site that a total of 48 artificial joint medical technology companies at home and abroad and more than 140 artificial joint products participated in the bidding this time.


In the end, 108 varieties successfully participated in centralized procurement.


The centralized procurement is divided into two categories: artificial hip joints and artificial knee joints. The artificial hip joints are divided into three categories: ceramic-ceramic, ceramic-polyethylene, and alloy-polyethylene.


According to the "National Organization of Procurement Documents for the Centralized Quantity of Artificial Joints", a total of 300,000 artificial total hip joints and 230,000 artificial total knee joints were centralized procurement this time.
