Dr. Wu was elected a member of the Japanese Academy of Engineering (foreign) in 2018 and is currently the president of the International Society for Smart Infrastructure Structural Health Monitoring (ISHMII) and the International Society for Basalt Fiber and Composite Materials (ISBFC). Served as editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Sustainability Materials and Structures (IJSMSS) and deputy editor and editorial board member of more than 10 SCI journals.
