The electric thermite smelting method of vanadium-aluminum alloy developed by China’s vanadium-titanium alloy material technology enterprise was authorized by the national invention patent Hay:A03HGCG

Recently, around the development of the vanadium-titanium new material industry, HGCG's research and development of the electric-therothermic smelting method of vanadium-aluminum alloy was authorized by the national invention patent, which further consolidated HGCG's leading position in vanadium-titanium smelting technology. Up to now, HGCG has obtained 988 patents, including 188 patents for vanadium-titanium alloys.

Since 2012, HGCG has strengthened cooperation with universities and colleges to accelerate the in-depth research on the preparation and production technology of high-end vanadium-titanium materials. After repeated tackling problems by technical personnel, they successfully pioneered the production technology of vanadium aluminum alloy by electro-alumination method. This technology can control the reaction process of smelting vanadium-aluminum alloy by electric thermite method through the action of different voltages and currents, so that the gas generated in the alloy can be discharged from the alloy in time, effectively avoiding product oxidation and slag inclusion problems during the smelting process. Improve the product quality of vanadium aluminum alloy.

In 2013, this technology was nominated for the Golden Kangaroo World Innovation Award. The national invention patent authorization was officially obtained a few days ago. After years of development, HGCG has a full range of national standard vanadium and aluminum alloy production capacity, which fully meets the needs of civil and military applications.
