Recently, China's ultra-high-purity aluminum technology company, NBJY Electronic Materials Technology Group issued an announcement:
With its core technical advantages in the field of ultra-high purity metals, NBJY has successfully developed electronic grade ultra-high purity aluminum with a purity of 6N3 (99.99993%), which has been verified by the third-party authoritative testing organization PAT (Bofeik). The quality has reached the international leading level.
Electronic grade ultra-high purity aluminum is an important raw material for sputtering targets for ultra-large-scale integrated circuits and flat-panel display targets. Especially for integrated circuit chip manufacturing, the metal purity of sputtering targets is the highest, and its purity, product quality, and performance indicators It directly determines the quality and stability of the chip.
“Generally speaking, the purity requirement of ultra-high-purity aluminum for semiconductor targets is 5N5 (99.9995%) and above, and the purity requirement for ultra-high-purity aluminum for flat-panel display targets is 5N (99.999%) and above.
The NBJY R&D team used the self-developed "crystallization method" to optimize multiple processes such as cleaning, crystallization, purification, and casting. It took only three months. Finally, it was one of the 5N8 (99.9998%) technical achievements. It achieved a breakthrough of 0.0001% purity.
The launch of NBJY's electronic grade ultra-high purity aluminum 6N products successfully broke the monopoly of foreign multinational companies and filled the gap in China's ultra-high purity metal materials industry.
At present, the product has passed the certification and evaluation of some customers and has entered the mass production stage.
NBJY has established a high-purity metal materials research institute, introduced a team of technical experts led by top German scientists, a world-class metal materials research institute, and has in-depth cooperation with the Metal Materials Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to jointly develop and overcome the technical bottlenecks of other ultra-high purity metals.
