On December 1, the opening ceremony of Idemitsu Electronic Materials (China) Co., Ltd. was held in Zone B of Chengdu High-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone, which means that the production base of Idemitsu OLED luminescent materials in China has officially achieved mass production, and the first delivery is expected in early 2021.
Idemitsu Kosan, a Fortune 500 company in the world, is the core enterprise in OLED luminescent materials, and Idemitsu Electronic Materials (China) Co., Ltd. ("Idemitsu Materials" for short) is the first OLED luminescent material manufacturer established by Idemitsu Kosan in China The base is also the world's third OLED luminescent material manufacturing base for Idemitsu Kosan. Its commissioning will fill the gap in the domestic OLED luminescent material field and is of great significance to the new display industry in Chengdu.
OLED screens have great advantages in terms of energy consumption, lightness and thinness, and are currently widely used in large and medium-sized displays such as smart phones and large-screen TVs. The future application scenarios are expected to further increase.
The first batch of delivery is expected to be achieved early next year
It is reported that TLD will first supply products to Chengdu and its surrounding areas.
The supply base of OLED luminescent materials supplies all parts of China.
Total project investment: about 245 million yuan
The project started construction in December 2018 and is expected to produce 12 tons of OLED luminescent materials per year.
