On January 6, 2023, the SDLD led "Research and Development and Industrialization Demonstration Project of High Performance Geocomposites for National Major Infrastructure Projects" won the 7th "China Industry Award".
This award-winning project broke through nine "choke" key technologies and three types of products broke international monopoly, narrowed the technological gap between engineering materials and developed countries such as the United States and Japan, solved the passive situation of China's high-speed railway, long bridges and tunnels and other key materials for major projects relying on imports, and effectively promoted the development of high-performance geosynthetics industry.
At present, the project products have been widely used in thousands of national key construction projects, such as the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, the Sichuan Tibet Railway, the Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway, Daxing International Airport, the Beijing Winter Olympics, and the market share of the leading products has ranked first in the world and China.
