On March 28, 2020, the "100-ton high-strength and high-modulus polyimide fiber preparation technology and application" developed by JSXN Advanced Fiber Material Technology Corporation passed the review of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.


In 2008, JSXN transformed the results of the high-strength and high-modulus polyimide fiber preparation technology of Dr. Wu's team from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.


Under the support of China's national key research and development plan and the national demonstration platform for production and application of new materials, JSXN has broken through the 10-ton engineering and 100-ton industrialization of high-strength and high-modulus polyimide fibers. The first 100-ton high-strength and high-modulus polyimide fiber production line has formed a series of products, which has achieved application breakthroughs in aerospace, electronics, safety protection, profile manufacturing and other fields.


And in 2018, the company took the lead in completing the formulation of the Chinese national standard "High Strength and High Modulus Polyimide Filament".

The highest grade of high-strength and high-modulus polyimide fiber products developed by JSXN, its tensile strength and initial modulus can reach over 4.5GPa and 180GPa respectively.

High-strength and high-modulus polyimide fiber has outstanding mechanical properties, as well as high and low temperature resistance, aging resistance, low moisture absorption, low dielectric, high insulation and other performance characteristics. It is a high-performance organic fiber with excellent comprehensive performance and great development potential. High-end fields such as aerospace, electronics, and protection have broad application prospects.

Its preparation technology has completely independent intellectual property rights from structural composition to technical process. The core equipment of the production line and the raw and auxiliary materials for production are all localized, and the products fill the gap in the domestic and foreign markets.

The project has been authorized 50 Chinese invention patents, 3 American invention patents, 2 utility model patents, and 1 book "High Performance Polyimide Fiber and Application" was published. Jiangsu Xiannuo led the formulation of "High Strength and High Modulus Polyimide Long Silk" national standard 1, published many academic papers.
