Silicon Carbide Fiber
Silicon carbide fiber has such excellent properties as low density, high strength, high modulus, creep resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance, etc. Under the high temperature environment of 1200 ℃, its mechanical properties remain basically unchanged, and the service temperature under the aerobic environment is far higher than that of carbon fiber.
SiC fiber is mainly used in aviation and aerospace fields, such as blades, regulators, combustion chambers and heat shields of aeroengines, rudder wings of missiles and other high-temperature resistant parts.

SiC fiber is a kind of high performance fiber with high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance. It has the characteristics of low density, high strength, high modulus and good compatibility with the matrix.
The density of silicon carbide fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composite is only 1/3 of that of superalloy, and its strength is twice that of superalloy. It can withstand a high temperature of 1000-1500 ℃ under aerobic conditions (more than 200 ℃ higher than that of superalloy).
